Brintazzoli farm: Agri Max Power X2 is the choice of those who value innovation

We continue on our journey to discover the many excellent Italian companies operating in the agricultural sector, which over the years have chosen to rely on the quality and innovation of DIECI telehandlers for the growth of their business.

Today’s focus is on Azienda Agricola Brintazzoli, which has been operating for more than 60 years in Castel Guelfo di Bologna, along the line between Emilia and Romagna.

Welcoming us is Tiziano, who together with his cousin Emanuele runs the farm founded by his grandfather in the middle of the last century, and which today breeds around 530 cows, 270 of which are lactating. The farm is involved in the production of milk destined for the production of Squacquerone PDO, one of the most iconic cheeses from this area.

For Azienda Agricola Brintazzoli, relying on high-performance machines to run their farm has always been a must. It is no coincidence that it now has a fleet of 15 vehicles, with 2 DIECI telehandlers.

As Tiziano tells us, over the years internal production growth has demanded increasingly all-round, fast, specialised and versatile solutions. This also led them to the recent purchase of one of DIECI’s top-of-the-line telehandlers: The Agri Max Power X2 60.9, which boasts a maximum capacity of 6 tonnes and a maximum height of 9 metres.

“On the farm, we use telehandlers mainly for work in the barn. Thanks to their versatility, we can easily perform many different tasks, including handling, lifting and cleaning bedding.

To support these operations, we rely on specific equipment that allows us to speed up day-to-day activities while responding to our needs.”

As Tiziano tells us, “In particular, on the Agri Max Power X2 we use:

  • The wire/strap remover, designed to facilitate all those activities that require frequent removal of wires or straps from square and round bales mainly in livestock farming. 
  • The telescopic fork, to handle up to 4 bales at a time.”

The Agri Max Power X2, the innovative telehandler that exceeds expectations

In fact, the Agri Max Power X2 is the first telehandler to be fitted with HVT-1, a transmission with Power Split technology based on continuous automatic speed and torque variation, in which the mechanical and hydraulic components modulate their contribution according to the effort the machine has to overcome. This gives this vehicle unparalleled speed, avoiding fuel wastage and maximising productivity.

As Tiziano tells us, “compared to other models, the Agri Max Power X2 is evolving in terms of vehicle type, getting closer and closer to a farm tractor. With its 50 km/h on the road, it clearly improves travel and increases productivity.

The other plus we particularly appreciate is the shock-absorbing system installed on the front axle, which allows the machine to absorb shocks both on the road and in the field. A great help to improve comfort especially at high speed.”

The speed of 50 km/h together with the towing capacity of up to 30 tonnes considerably speeds up movement, facilitating day-to-day operations from one field to another. The Agri Max Power X2 is ideal for all livestock farms that need a good transmission and a good drive for their work.”

Before we say goodbye, we ask Tiziano what he thinks is the secret to a successful farm and after getting to know him a little we are not surprised to hear that for him “to keep up with the times it is important to continually renew one’s machinery with more and more high-performance vehicles that allow one to work in the best possible way and in the shortest possible time.”

A requirement that fits in perfectly with today’s dynamic context, where tough new regulations and an ever-increasing focus on collective issues such as energy saving and sustainability also require great care when choosing the right fleet.

“Current climate changes together with continuous regulatory changes require farms like ours to be more and more efficient by continuously innovating.”
